Another Duck Update

Heyy everyone! I have some exciting news about Belle. We found a rotten egg the other day and Belle came finally after a week. The egg had a duckling that wasn't fully developed and dead. Though that seems and is sad, it's okay. That egg helped us figured out how old Belle's eggs were. The egg was about 11 days old, and who knows how long ago it stopped developing. The egg may be up to 16 days old, and if true, only 10-12 days left until we have ducklings in our yard! We know Belle is the mother becaues right after we found the egg, Belle made a surprise visit and crossed the street while I was walking home from school just to see me! But that's not how we know, Belle had the soft feathers that ducks use to line their nests with stuck to her stomach! We are very excited as we await the arrival of the little feathery miracles. I'm especially excited because I am close with Belle and Beau and have pet them before and always hand feed them, so I may be able to have a little contact with the ducklings without Belle getting mad. Anyways, here's a picture of Beau and Belle.

i know. i love them. the other day amber and i were comming home and we couldnt tell gabby from belle! then i figured it out. haha
