Heyy, it's amber! I thought we should let you know that there is a new female duck in our neighborhood. I named her Gabby. She is very shy, quiet, and gentle.

P.S. We figured out why Belle was quacking the way she did. Female ducks quack loudly to get the males attention once she leaves the nest. Also, whether this is good or bad, Belle hasn't been here in 5 days. It is possible that her ducklings were/ are hatching. Now that I think back, when Martha's ducklings hatched, she didn't come for 3 days, she arrived on the FOURTH day with FOUR ducklings, so possibly the same is with Belle. For each day she doesn't come, it is another duckling added to the family and another duckling on the day she comes, who knows?
